The Company began its life in 1980, and was restructed with a management buyout and a name change in October 2000.

DaceCrown Ltd are an independent team of specialists dedicated to solving the toughest handling and packaging problems faced by our customers in Britain and around the world.

As well as project management of the highest order DaceCrown off the fullest possible range of individual services - designing and manufacturing in-house, then installing and commissioning, quality handling and packaging systems which are built to last. This may involve the development of exiting new technology where existing systems prove inadequate.

We have through experience and expertise in the industry given the customer the speedy, efficient and cost effective solutions it needs. We have assembled dedicated team of design, mechanical, project and service engineers with an excellent track record and a commitment to your success.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

By virtue of our long experience, DaceCrown are often called upon to undertake management of total turnkey projects, often lasting several months. In these cases we are the major contractor with the central role of organising and managing the labour and equipment inputs made by other suppliers.

A TOTAL SPARES SERVICE

Quality spares are produced quickly and cost effectively on state-of-the-art CNC equipment for most handling and packaging equipment originating in the UK, Europe and North America. They cover operations as diverse as filling, kegging, unscrambling, washing, rinsing, can seaming, capping, crowning, labelling and crating / decrating.

Our table top equipment is manufactured in a wide range of high technology engineering plastics and stainless steel it ranges from star wheels, scrolls, ploughs and guides and includes neck support systems for PET and PVC bottles. This service extends to bottle handling and label application parts for Krones, Jagenberg, Alpha and Kosme labellers.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

We can place at any customer disposal our impressive research and development service, based on our comprehensive engineering skills and our extensive technological experience.

INNOVATION

For example in response to market demands we developed in partnerships with Guinness a revolutionary type of filling and packaging system for the production of Draught Guinness in a can utilising, an innovation invention called The Widget' this enabled the creamy head to form once the can had been opened. We also redeveloped this system for other major brewers, i.e. Whitbread.
